You’re at the helm.
But it can feel lonely – up there all by yourself, in a storm.
I get it. Really, it’s overwhelming at times.
And so is the idea of sitting in a room, talking to a stranger – about things that you might not ever have shared with even your closest friend!
Heck, it can be hard to have those thoughts and realizations on your own, even without another person in the room.
But you are always in control. And you’ll never be alone.
Because working together is just that – together.
Your goals are OUR goals.
What you want is what we’re going to try to achieve.
Some people have the idea that a therapist (that would be me) has the end-all-be-all idea of what you should be doing and tells you what to do with that goal in mind. The cool thing is, YOUR goal is MY goal.
YOU are the captain of your ship.
And I’m your rudder, helping to guide you to your goals and dreams.
Even if you don’t yet know where you want to be, or what you want for a goal, we’ll work together to help you figure all of that out.
It might mean digging into what it was like as a kid and what the expectations were.
It can also involve talking about what you don’t want. This could result from things you’ve experienced in childhood and seen from close family throughout the years.
As you go through life, you bring people and experiences into the fold – and they become part of you. I want to help you tap into that to ensure you’re honoring the things that are part of your fabric.
YOU have amazing, undiscovered potential.
I often observe that feelings are hard and uncomfortable – because they can be!
Yet you have the power within you to meet them head on, learn from them, and overcome.
My job is to help you navigate your way through that journey of growth and self-discovery.
My driving force is to make sure that you can see – from within yourself – things that will impress and amaze you.
And, along the way, my systemic, relational approach will help you understand how the people in your life can shape your self-concept, your identity.

The conditions are right. There’s never been a better time than now to embark on the ultimate voyage:
One that allows you to evolve into the very best version of yourself.
One that will bring you closer and closer to the live you really want to live.
I became a therapist because it is my absolute favorite thing when someone sees what they are capable of. Sometimes we all struggle with the idea of knowing what we can do, so being able to see it in its glory – really fires me up. When not in the office, you can find me running (and wondering why I am running…) spending time with my furry crew, and watching trashy television. Plus, I’m a fan of being a nerd and reading boring books about a variety of behavioral topics.
And for the technical stuff…
I have a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Northcentral University. I’m currently pursuing sex therapy training through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists.
